New Prototype Emblem for the Ouroboros Project. Don’t think I’ll be adding anything to the image at this point, but plan to make it slightly more flashy. The text behind the head of the snake reads, “Gnothi Seauton” but in Greek. It means, “Know Thy Self.” The bottom of the snake on the inside of the circle reads, “Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici” which means, “By the Power of Truth, I, While Living, Have Conquered the Universe.”

Another forearm exercise to add to your warm up routine. Remember that slow is smooth and smooth is fast. The slower you can do this exercise, the better. You also don’t need a bo to practice this exercise. You can use a pipe, shinai or boken, and any kind of long hammer (to include a sledge), or whatever else you can think of. Be very careful with variation 2 of this exercise, when doing that one, make sure you don’t anything that’s too heavy. Always be careful with the wrists when doing rotating exercises like that. Use something light, like a short pipe or relatively light bo and remember to keep your wrist straight. Have fun.

Basic 4 Pushups done slowly with a 1-2 second pause on the bottom. This is the beginner’s method for doing these push ups, and will develop all of the muscles in the shoulders, triceps, and forearms. Remember to have your hands spread appropriately and to keep your body in a generally straight line as you push up and drop down. Do not rest your body on the floor, and breath deeply.
